  • Discipline and Self-Respect
How I feel about myself is fundamental to how I treat myself and others. While I have no control over external factors that impact my life, I can control how I feel about myself daily. My energy levels and my mindset are the backbone of everything I can achieve, and both have taken real discipline and sacrifice to prioritise. Taking care of my body is part of my identity and I have worked out three to five days a week for eighteen years (even on holiday), because I understand the critical link between diet, exercise and nutrition and how this ultimately affects your mood and your ability to have a positive mindset. I have maintained the same weight for twenty years give or take three pounds. I smoked for fifteen years and gave up ten years ago. It was one of the hardest things I ever had to do. I gave up drinking eight years ago after my mother passed from breast cancer and I wanted to reduce inflammation. I also resented how the hangovers stole time from me. I am now T-Total.  Removing these vices from my life was my goal, but they might not be yours. I do not believe in living a joyless life and think you should do what makes you happy, in moderation. But not if those things that make you happy in the moment don't serve your health or lifestyle goals.
  • Omnivorous Learner
My commitment to personal development is unwavering. With over 30,000 hours dedicated to mindset and neuroscience podcasts and audibles, and extensive notes from life-changing books, I've actively practiced and executed the advice I've learned. Establishing processes and frameworks that allow me to make informed decisions and become disciplined and consistent has enabled me to help others on their journey to self-actualisation. I continue to seek my sweet spot of purpose. Every day I get closer to understanding who I am and what I want. The key to that is learning yourself, exploring and executing. You can always pivot. Every path offers lessons. The trick is to listen to your inner being and know if something feels right or wrong. I have turned down huge monetary opportunities because I refuse to be a slave to fiat. If I'm not learning, if my energy feels off, I step away.
  • Multidisciplinary, Diverse Curiosity
I used to be embarrassed to tell people how many projects I was working on. My enthusiasm for diverse verticals was met with unsolicited advice about how I need to focus on "one thing." I believe the advice is accurate when you are either trying to scale in one particular area or you don't have the inherent tools to become excellent in more than one vertical. I am blessed with ADHD and over the years I have honed my systems to ensure I can manage m mental allocation across projects. I thrive with diverse stimuli. My problem solving skills are second to none because I am able to master many perspectives. I see the world through a kaleidoscope of possibilities. I can join the dots where many others can't. It has taken me many years to have the confidence to express how proud I am of taking ownership of my ADHD and exploiting it. As Mr. Einstein says: "Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited, whereas imagination embraces the entire world."
  • Freedom is My North Star
Freedom. What does it mean to be free? To me it means being free to make choices with autonomy and agency. Whilst we cannot always be selfish and live for ourselves, freedom to me means not having to rely on others for subsistence and survival. It means choosing how I spend my day. I strive daily to make choices that afford me this freedom.  From investments in a rental property portfolio in London and setting boundaries with personal relationships and professional responsibilities - I am close to living the freedom I crave.  I believe that striving for freedom is the ultimate act of defiance against the limits imposed by society and self. I work hard on my relationships and friendships and am rewarded daily with kindness, transparency and support. I am truly blessed. Building foundational relationships allows you to dip in and out of new friendships and have comparable to what works and doesn't work for you in relationships. Freedom to cut ties with people who don't share your values is imperative. I continue to have therapy and have gained a deep understanding of the work that it takes to show up for myself every day, be consistent, disciplined and constantly evolve. I continue to challenge my goals and make sure they are aligned with my authentic self and not what society wants for me. Let's be grateful and give thanks.
  • "Stay hungry, stay foolish."
"Stay hungry, stay foolish." Says Steve Jobs. I'm always hungry and always foolish. Whilst I'm fairly risk-averse in investments and business, I make up for it by jumping off cliffs, out of planes and following sharks when I'm scuba diving. If there is something mischievous to get up to, I'm probably leading the troops. I'm an avid solo traveler and PADI Scuba Diver and love nothing more than a long walk and basking in the sun with an audible. Life is for living and not stagnating. I've lived in over seven countries and consulted globally. Because of this, I can empathise with different cultures and diverse opinions. I continue to solo travel a few times a year and place myself in diverse rooms, globally so that my perspectives remain broad.
